La Ruta del Papa is an independent, informational guide to Pope Leo XIV's visit to Peru. You can use the whole site without signing up or giving us any personal data. This page explains what information is processed, why, and how to exercise your rights.
Who is responsible
The site is built and maintained by BeezCorp. It does not belong to the Holy See, the Peruvian Episcopal Conference, the Peruvian State or any municipality.
Visit statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit each page, and from which country and type of device. It uses no cookies and identifies no one: we only see aggregate figures and build no visitor profiles.
“Share Your Experience” form
Filling it in is optional. We keep what you write (your experience, the region, your suggestions and, if you give it, your email) together with the page language. It is stored in Supabase, our database provider, and used only to improve the platform and, if you left your email, to reply to you. We never publish or share it.
Cookies and local storage
We use no first-party or tracking cookies. Your browser keeps, on your device only, your theme (light or dark) and accessibility preferences and which notices you have already seen. They never reach us, and you can clear them from your browser settings. The language is set by the page address (/en for English) and is not stored.
Notifications
If you turn on browser notifications, the reminder for each event is created on your own device from the schedule. We register your device on no server, and you can turn them off at any time from your browser permissions.
Third-party content and links
Photos (including those from outlets such as Infobae, El Comercio or Vatican News) and fonts are served from this site itself: browsing makes no requests to those sites. During the tour, the Live page loads the YouTube player in its privacy-enhanced mode; playing a video is subject to Google's policy. Read-aloud uses your browser's built-in voice.
Some buttons take you to other services: the sticker channel and contact on WhatsApp, Google Maps for directions to a restaurant, and each restaurant's social media or website. Opening them takes you off this site, and each service's own privacy policy applies.
No advertising, no data sales
This site shows no advertising and never sells or hands over visitor data. It is an informational and cultural project.
Your rights
Under Peru's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 29733), you can ask to access, correct, delete or object to the use of any data you sent us through the form. Message us on WhatsApp and we will reply as soon as possible.
